The Bible is not something that came out of man's idea. It is the breathing out of God's thought. Though written through man, every word was borne, inspired by, the Holy Spirit. It is God's revelation, contains God's elements, and carries His flavor. 

The Bible is also the embodiment of God's Spirit. Just as a radio receiver captures radio waves and makes them tangible, the Bible contains God's Spirit and makes it tangible. God's Spirit is contained in the words of the Bible. 

We should take the Bible as our spiritual food, daily coming to it to contact God, absorb God, and taste God. Then His Spirit will have a way to work in us through the operation of His living word.
