Christians at RGV Summer Internship
We train our students to become disciples of Christ and fishers of men.
Our Program
Our Summer Internship began in 2014 for the purpose of equipping students to serve Jesus. Interns work side-by-side with staff members on campus and in the community.
Our goal is that all interns would cultivate a relationship with the Lord, develop community with one another and participate in outreach to incoming freshman by helping them transition into college. Find friends for life and life in Christ!
What We Do
Enjoy God’s Person
We help our interns enjoy God’s person by equipping them to serve the Lord Jesus. We believe that the basis of our service comes from knowing Him and His Word in a living way. Throughout the summer, come gain insight as we see God’s person within the Scriptures to strengthen your daily Christian walk.
Fulfill God’s Purpose
Every summer thousands of new freshmen come to UTRGV and begin to make decisions that will set their course for the rest of their life. Shouldn’t someone be there to tell them about Jesus? Join us to learn valuable lessons in outreach and the gospel, reaching man and shepherding people to fulfill God’s purpose
Together with God’s People
In our service to the Lord, we realize what the Lord wants is not an individual work, but to work as a team, especially together with God’s people. We will learn to develop real teamwork by praying together and coordinating on all kinds of projects in our service this summer.

The total time commitment is 25-35 hours weekly, Mondays-Fridays.

What if I can only participate part-time?
There is a minimum commitment of two consecutive weeks which will be paid, but we welcome all students to volunteer with us based on their availability.
